Peanut on...

...Driving...
Ok, so the other day there was a possibility that I would have to pick my niece up from daycare. I would have had to leave work early (no biggie cause I was over on my time already), and I'd have the chance to see where my mom and sis are living. Well, I left work at 4, did what I needed to, then got a phone call from my mom. She was going to pick up the munchkin. I decided that since I had already left work, and was practically on the expressway already, I'd just head out that way. Well...apparently, some dude in a Saturn Vue thought he was the absolute most important person on the road at the time and made it absolutely impossible to miss! This guy, right after a construction zone, whipped out behind someone in the left lane. Now, I was in the center lane and there was still a line of traffic in the right lane. This guy got right up on the bumper of the car in front of him, flashed his lights then slowed up a little until he was about 4' away instead of 2'. Gunned it again flashing lights and all. This happened 2 or 3 times before there was not quite enough room for him to squeeze between me and the car in front of me. Had I not been paying attention, he WOULD HAVE taken off my bumper, and sent me cruising into the far right lane where there was still TONS of traffic. I hit my brakes, honked at him, said a few choice words under my breath, and stuck my hand out the window with one particular finger proudly extended. By this time this guy was...I'm not exaggerating...100 yards in front of everyone. Well, I stayed right where I was and somehow wound up in front of this idiot again. He was all the way in the left lane doing about 85-90, changed lanes behind me all the way to the right. My response??? I got in front of him :-D doing the same speed I was before which was about 75. He had to hit is brakes so hard that his bumper was about 10" from the ground...moron... Now, I don't normally have road rage. Yes, I get frustrated and I might yell some not-so-nice things when I get that way, but I RARELY ever really retaliate on another driver. This guy however, got me so mad that I felt I needed to. I have no idea why he was in such a hurry...and now that I think about it, it's kinda funny!

...Being sick...
Ok, I went to the doctor's office on Wednesday and still haven't heard anything back. I don't know what was wrong with me, but I feel fine now. I'm not the type of person to stay home when I'm sick anyways. I would have to be on my death bed, or not able to lift my own head in order for me to stay home. Doctors like that because that's what keeps them in business! lol

...Cedar Point...
Yes. That magical place full of metal, wood, speed, cotton candy and excitement. I will be there tomorrow with both of my sisters, Cletus and 2 of my nieces. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!! I really hope we can get on Maverick again this year. That ride kicks some serious butt!

...The Olympics...
Ok...what's up with this judging crap in women's gymnastics??? And the fact that it's so incredibly obvious that HALF the Chinese team is under age. Yeah, mistake my butt...they did it on purpose. The younger girls have fewer life experiences and may not really realize what a HUGE deal the Olympics really are! Oh well, who am I...just a spectator. I'm very proud that Nastia Liukin and Shawn Johnson grabbed gold and silver for the US though! Track and field starts today (or started last night), and I'm pretty anxious to watch that...Michael Phelps is well on his way to being the best athlete in Olympic history. He's already regarded as the best athlete ever...this will just seal the deal!

Anyhoo...lunch is over, I have to get back to work.

And not taking me!!! What up with that??!! :)

    ...Olympics...
No kidding! Judging "errors" = judging 'corruption' - seriously. This sucks. Does the integrity of anything matter to anyone anymore, or is it just me?

    I don't think they are 16 either.

Phelps: I heard he's...um...quite the...um...player...back home, perhaps with quite the ego.... But, man, does that boy know how to swim! And he seems to have a great relationship with his mother. In the sports arena at least, he appears to be a great sportsman and to compete with integrity and a great sense of teamwork.

Track and field. Whoo! Did you see the Jamaicans? Wow. That 21-year-old girl was great!
