Not that I NEEDED another book...

I went to Target today with my kids and my little list of stuff that I needed. When I say little list, I mean LITTLE list. I needed kiddie toothpaste, a couple more long sleeve shirts for Julia, pajamas for both of them (if they were on sale), lamps for the living room, and a box of Cheerio's. Really, I should buy stock in Cheerio's. Anyways...I decided to look around in the toy department for a play broom for Julia, scored one for $10! Then, I remembered we were almost out of lotion for the kids. Now, neither of these were on the list, but I've wanted a broom for Julia forever, and well, we needed lotion. I then decided to meander into the "media" department and see if they had any Janet Evanovich books...specifically the Stephanie Plum books. They only had two of them; Explosive Eighteen and Love in a Nutshell. Now, I'm nowhere NEAR book eighteen yet, so I decided to skip them. Then, I walked to the next aisle, and that's where I saw it. One of the books that everyone has been raving about. And it was cheap. Like $8.74 cheap. I'm talking about The Hunger Games. I snatched it up as quick as I could! Now, when I finish the book I'm reading, I'll have to decide between the next in the series, the next Harry Potter, or do I start The Hunger Games! AAH!

Anyways. Enough of my rambling...

God bless!

  1. 1) Stephanie Plum books are on the "USB" if you ever got that. Even if you don't have a Kindle, you can get Kindle apps.

    2) I vote Hunger Games before the next Harry Potter only because HG is SO fast (IMO) and easy to read through. HP takes a little longer. At least for me it does.

    3) I LOVE all 3 of those series so much :)

  2. No, I never got the USB :-( I might want to get it now since I'll have an iPhone though. There's gotta be a free eReader for that thing! LOL!

Yeah, Harry Potter takes a lot longer to read for me too. I think it's because she crams so much into every sentence that you really have to slow down to read it all!

I think Hunger Games might win out for next on my list. Just because I don't like a whole lot of monotony when I'm reading (that really doesn't explain reading all 3 of the 50 Shades books in 12 days, though...lol)

  3. Talk to Jenny or Carolyn about the USB, they have it set up on dropbox or something :)
