Today, I hit the 32 week mark! Only 8 weeks to go until the little one is in our arms. I can't wait!!!
Yesterday, mom came over and we took a tour of the hospital so that she is familiar with where to go and how to get there if she has to take me in. It was the second tour for me, so more of a refresher than anything. It was kind of crazy being in the L&D room...and the mommy-baby (recovery) room knowing that I'll be there within the next 2 months! After the tour, mom and I went shopping a bit to help finish up getting some of the things we still need for the little bean. On our first trip, we got a changing pad, a nightgown for me to wear in the hospital after the baby comes, bottles...since we didn't get any at the shower...binkies, and a few other items. We then came home, had lunch with the hubby, the BIL and the future SIL and headed out to David's to look at some wedding gowns for the FSIL. We had a LOT of fun!!! She found her dress, and it was exciting. After David's, we headed to Target to do some more baby shopping...where we found this...
I love, love, LOVE this bassinet!!! It's the one that I originally wanted to register for but it was way too much...($160 or $180, can't remember...) we snagged this for $75!!! LOVE IT!!! I can't wait to see our little one snoozing (or squirming) away in it! :-)
An often random little glimpse into the happenings that are the life of this full-time working mom of three beautiful babies.

Shower goodies!
Well, Saturday was my baby shower, and it was so much fun! The food was great, the cake was delicious (thanks to my sis for making the cake!), and the gifts...well, wow!!! Here is a picture of the cake, and some pics of the loot that lil bean made out with!
The "big" cake
My own personal cake
The loot - unorganized
Newborn clothes
0-3/3 Month clothes (and...my feet - complete with bleach stain on my right foot LOL)
6-9 Month clothes
The bath goodies (LOVE the little bath robe!!!)
Swaddling blankets
Fuzzy blankets
Toys, memory book, other items
Today, we went and bought our travel system since we had decided to wait until the shower to see what we got furniture/safety-wise. Well, as you can see, we got no furniture...and no travel system (stroller and car seat). SO! Here's our new travel system! I like it!
The car seat
The whole shebang
Right now, it seems like the car seat is a little too upright for a newborn, but we'll see! It's gotten wonderful reviews, and I really like the design. It handles well, and I love how the canopies completely overlap at the top.
Now, we are officially into single digits!!! 9 weeks (hopefully) to go until we will have the bouncing bean in our arms! We're sooooooooo anxious and excited!!!

Almost single digits
I can't believe it...We're almost into single digits for the weeks remaining!!! Just turned 29 weeks on Sunday, and in 2 weeks...we will officially be into single digits! AAAHH!!! The baby shower is in one week and 5 days, and I'm sooooooo excited! The MIL is riding with me, while Michael has a diaper party, and hangs out with the FIL! Seems like just last month we were announcing that we were pregnant, and we were only 13 weeks at that point. Time has FLOWN for sure...
This week is going to be incredibly busy too. RCIA Tuesday night, early morning (8 am) ultrasound appointment Wednesday, our first Childbirth class on Thursday, possible girls night Friday, and maybe a game night on Saturday...oh yeah, and then church Sunday morning. I don't think I'll be doing one of the last 2. I need a little time to chill out...growing another human is exhausting. But, I am enjoying it. Feeling all the little kicks, punches, and rolling is truly an amazing feeling. :-) I am so thankful that we've been blessed with this life, and trusted to raise this child!

Interesting couple of days...
Last night, my wonderful computer decided to have brain freeze and completely shut down for no reason.
Well, let me elaborate...
I have a rather well known anti-virus software (starts with an 'N'). Ever since i updated it, it has been running full system scans in the background. The last time this scan ran, my computer shut down, unannounced. I rebooted, and everything seemed fine. A few weeks passed (I think it does this scan once a month), which brings us to last night.
I was playing around, had a couple of tabs open in Firefox, was chatting on Yahoo messenger, and was trying to empty my photo card. I had pics from October on it LOL Anyways...I walked away from my computer for a second, and I hear from the living room "your computer just shut off" WHAT?! Again!?! grr. Back into the living room...hit the power button, and the black screen that gives you the "SAFE mode" boot screen was up. I selected "Start Normally". 2 seconds later, the computer shuts off again.

Hmm...
Power on again...blue screen. OH NO!!! This is EXACTLY what my desktop computer did before it started deleting all my index files!!! Yeah, that was a fun day too. Oh! Turn off again. Just for fun!
Power on...blue screen...shut down.
Power on...blue screen...shut down.
What...the heck...seriously???
Power on again. Shut down.
Power on again. Shut down.
Screw it.
Slam the top shut. Unplug it, and toss the plug. Let the stupid thing sit there. I don't need it, right? A few minutes passed and I thought, "let me try it one more time". Power on - still unplugged - and shut off my wireless antenna. Black screen comes up, I choose "Start Normally" again...and wait. Seems to be working...but will it make it to my login screen? That was the burning question. Next thing I know, there's my login screen! I'm STUMPED. I log in, and wait. Nothing seems to be smoking, burning, deleting, disappearing...it actually seems to be running alright. Crazy. Oh, and the best part...the error report!!! I kid you not, the blue screen of death that pops up...is called BlueScreen on the error report. Come on Microsoft...you can be more creative than that! I got a really good chuckle out of it though, and had to save the error report just because of the name! HA!
And that brings me to tonight. We started getting some snow (YAY!!!) around 1:30-2:00 this afternoon. They've been talking about it on the news for a couple of days now...2-5", 3-6"...either way...SNOW!!! Well, by the time I left work, there was already about 2" on the ground. Let me say first off - it's going to take a while to get used to having a "truck" vs. the little green machine. I could have that car cleaned off in less than 5 minutes. The Jeep on the other hand...took me almost 10! It really made me realize how short I truly am. =/ Anyways...I had my 4wd on all the way home, and people were only going about 25 mph...tops. I got to one relatively major intersection, and there was an ambulance approaching. I started to think..."man, I hope they don't need to go left...it's bumper to bumper!" Sure enough, they went left and what happened next was really neat to see. It was like watching the red sea part. There are only 2 lanes going North, and 2 lanes South on this road, and it is still a divided highway at this point. Cars were getting over to the right and left to get out of the way of the ambulance. Think of the scene in Bruce Almighty when Jim Carey wants to get to work quickly, closes his eyes, an puts his hand up, waving the cars apart. That's about what this looked like! It was very slow moving for the ambulance, and I truly hope that whomever they were tending to was ok, but it was neat to actually see drivers MOVING when an emergency vehicle needed to get through.
Anyhow...we just took the Christmas tree down =( It's so bare in here now!!! And I need to get to bed...
Good night blog world!

Coincidence?
I am sponsoring again this year for the RCIA program at church. Last night, we were covering the Beatitudes. Well, we got on the subject of love: Love of God, loving your neighbor, love vs. like, etc. The lady that was sitting next to me had gotten some chips when we all filled our plates to eat. She took a couple off of her plate, and this one was on top. She grabbed it, showed it to me, and I snapped a picture of it with my phone! I couldn't get over how perfectly shaped it was, and the fact that it came about when we were talking about LOVE!!! How crazy is that!?!?

Hello 3rd Trimester!!!
Woohoo!!! Today marks day one of the 7th month of my pregnancy. Only 3 months to go until we will be welcoming our new addition! (Whom, might I add...is still 'hiding' relatively well in mommy's tummy!)
Tomorrow I have my 1 hour glucose test, and I'm really hoping that I pass. I don't want to have to drink that crap again for the 3 hour test...ick! Imagine flat...and I mean FLAT orange pop with a lot more sugar...sitting in the docs office immobile for an hour, and getting blood drawn a couple of times. Good times. But, if it rules out GD for me and my lil bean, it's all good!
Yesterday, we got some pretty exciting news...Michael's brother is engaged!!! And the future wife asked me to be a bridesmaid for her! Yay! Additional motivation to lose the baby weight. *giggle*
Anyways, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and a great New Year celebration. I wish you all the best in 2010!!!
