On being a "First Time Parent"

I hear people use the phrase "first time mom" or "first time dad" all the time with their first baby. However...we're all first time parents throughout all of our kids' lives when you think about it. Say you have to deal with something with your second child that you didn't with your first. It's the first time you've had to deal with it, so that makes you a "first time parent" all over again. At least in my mind it does!
